Canadian Immigration and Federal Economic Skilled Worker Class
Although many consultants and lawyers would argue that there are quite a few ways to immigrate to Canada, the only feasible and quick way to immigrate stays the economic immigration, which implies that the to-be immigrant should meet all of the following criteria:
-
they are skilled workers
-
they may become permanent residents on the basis of their ability to become economically established in Canada
-
they intend to reside in a province other than Quebec
If you would like to come to Canada as a skilled immigrant email us your resume and your IELTS results to find out whether you are eligible*.
Canadian Express Entry System is an online procedure which is used to manage immigration applications from skilled workers.
The following economic immigration programs are processed and managed through Express Entry:
-
Canadian Experience Class - for skilled workers who have Canadian work experience, which must have been gained in the 3 years before you apply
-
Federal Skilled Worker Program - for skilled workers with foreign work experience, who must meet criteria for education and other factors
-
Federal Skilled Trades Program - for skilled workers who are qualified in a skilled trade and who must have a valid job offer or a certificate of qualification
If the applicant is eligible for one of the above-mentioned programs, she/he can also apply through Express Entry for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), and if nominated by the province, the applicant will receive extra points.
If eligible for one or more of the Express Entry programs and you submit your profile, you will be ranked in the Express Entry pool using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
The CRS is a points-based system and it is used to evaluate and score the applicant’s profile and rank it in the Express Entry pool. It’s used to assess your:
-
skills
-
language ability
-
work experience
-
other factors
If selected, Canadian immigration officials will send you invitation to apply. The selected candidates are the one's with the highest scores in the pool, and they usually have just 60 days to submit the complete application.
What is TEER in Canada Immigration System?
When it comes to Canadian immigration programs TEER means Training, Education, Experience, and Responsibilities (TEER) categories.
It is a new system which was introduced on November 16th, 2022 and indicates the level of necessary and required Training, Education, Experience and Responsibilities (TEER) needed to enter each occupation.
TEER 0 covers management occupations and is likely to be the equivalent of NOC 0 positions.
What is the difference between NOC and TEER?
2021 “TEER Categories” are replacing “Skill Level” classifications under the previous 2016 NOC.
